Caytelynne and Jon Schmidt on the Same Blog Post!

So Caytelynne. I should explain her. She's the little airhead who shows up here once in a while to review movies. Or rather, to pruview movies she hasn't seen yet. Yeah. It's embarrassing. I think she shows up because I'm going through pre-menopause and I'm finding the need to release my inner schizophrenic. Caytelynne is one of the voices in my head. She makes social commentary through movie previews and the far right side of her brain. Which has no left side. I hope you will forgive me, but sometimes I just need to be Caytelynne. Some of my readers (read: my husband) (read: and also others) (read: many others) think it is way beneath my dignity to bring Caytelynne out and put her up here. Others think it's way beneath Caytelynne's dignity to appear on my blog.

Me? It's not like I have a choice, right? Caytelynne is bossy.

So, here today is another of Caytelynne's movie PruViews for your viewing, um, pleasure? To make up for it I'll follow it with a really fabu Jon Schmidt recording. The dude, unlike certain pruviewers, is a genius. After you hear him you will want to run right out and buy his music. If you listen to Caytelynne first, you'll run out and buy even more.

Sew. Without furthera doo, here's Caytelynne's pruview of The Cruise, in "Mission Impossible 4."

Yeeeaaaaahhhhh. So. Here's Mr. Schmidt. Without Penelope Cruise:

Ahhhhhhhh.

Caytelynne may not be with us much longer. She got a scholarship to the University of Walmart and is thinking about accepting it.

My greatest pleasure in life has been raising my four excellent children--some of whom liked me so much that they keep coming back. My second greatest pleasure has been doing whatever I can to make people laugh and create bright moments. I hope to do a bit more good in the world before I go the way of it. And if not, I'd better at least get to spend some serious time writing and singing in a castle somewhere in the UK.

  1. Fun! Just the break and entertainment I needed this afternoon. I think Caytelynn’s voice is as important as anyone’s. We all have a Caytelynn jumping rope in our brains. I hope. 🙂
