This is Bruce. He's running a one hundred mile foot race today. His goal is to finish in 30 hours. I can't even fathom that. I don't do nothin' I can't finish in 15 minutes. Sometimes 15 seconds.
I would like him to return unbroken.
Please also pray for this stressed-out wife:
She considers running from the front door of the Orange Leaf Yogurt Shop to the back of the store where they keep the paper bowls–before any of her friends get there–a major accomplishment. One hundred miles is a whole lot of runs to the back of the store.
Also, she likes her husband. Did she mention she wants him unbroken?
So pray, people. PRAY.
Thank you. We now return you to your local self.
J-nl, which race is he doing? And you’re a nut. That is all.
Scott
Sc’t, He’s doing the Wasatch 100. Right about now (10:25 am) he should be a little ways past Francis Peak, working on mile 20. He started at 5:00 this morning in Kaysville. There’s 30,000 feet of elevation in this run, so it’s EXTRA crazypants. 🙂
As for being a nut . . . well, sometimes you FEEL like a nut. I almost never don’t.
Thanks Mr. L.
Have you been drying your hair with the vacuum cleaner again?
Yes indeedy. A most effective method. You should try it!
