I was changing the structure of my blog last night (read: messing with it), and I accidentally broke my theme. Meaning, I made the blog completely inaccessible. So, I spent the evening having heart-failure. Then we got a hold of support and they helped restore the blog. As soon as I'm breathing normally again I'll have today's post up.
Thanks! Have a lovely, stress-free morning. I'm going to go have a bowl of chocolate-coated-sugar-bombs for breakfast. Then I'll get back to you.
I did that once. I took out my entire website. I had heart failure. I said bad bad words. I rebuilt it.
Now is where I should say that it was a character building experience and maybe it was. Mostly, it was an html building experience.
I have a real love/hate relationship with the web.
Sooooo with you on that.
WordPress is great in that you can totally build your own functionality by adding plugins and messing with the code to customize the structure.
WordPress also stinks because of this. Code I got off of THEIR OWN support site busted my blog.
I don’t like that I can build something like this–take the time and effort–and poof! It can be gone in the blink of mouse-click.
Love/Hate.
On the plus side, I’m making hard copies of everything . . .
