Sunday Snow. So THIS Is Where The Blizzard Went.

Woke up to this today:

‘Bout time. That’s all I’m saying. We got a snowflake for the blizzard, and 6 inches for the light dusting. It’s all good. It’s SNOW! Note my cute little neighbor boy (Okay, he’s 6’4″, so maybe not little) being a boy scout and plowing on his 4-wheeler. We’ve got lots of boy scouts around here. Someone plowed my sidewalk early in the a.m. Maybe it was neighbor boy. Cheers to you, young Master 6’4″!
Driving in it. This makes the street look incredibly wide. But it is actually off-code skinny. Pretty though, yeah? It doesn’t look deep here, but it is. Makes me want a 4-wheel drive vehicle the next time I replace my car. Someday. When I’m rich. For now I’ll just continue smacking the key with a screwdriver handle when I want it to start, never unlocking the back door (because I can’t), and living with the serpentine-belt occasionally slipping and losing me my power steering. It’s an adventure, right? And I’ve still got wheels, so I’m grateful.
Did I just digress?
Well, anyway–
Happy Sunday!

My greatest pleasure in life has been raising my four excellent children--some of whom liked me so much that they keep coming back. My second greatest pleasure has been doing whatever I can to make people laugh and create bright moments. I hope to do a bit more good in the world before I go the way of it. And if not, I'd better at least get to spend some serious time writing and singing in a castle somewhere in the UK.
